Before I begin to complete this post ” LIFE IS NOT SHORT IT IS ETERNAL”, I want to tell you something. I had a title or topic to use for this post and then didn’t finish the post a week ago. I have been mulling it over time and again over the past week. I didn’t feel any urgency to write, finish and post this last week. Today, I opened it up and began to type some more. God kept giving me words and thoughts and before long, the title and whole look of the post had changed. God is so good… He smiles down and gives me words and phrases and paragraphs to share with you.

This post may seem a bit convoluted but I think it comes together nicely at the end. I hope you can follow along and not get lost in the words and thoughts God and I are trying to convey. Thank you for reading. Enjoy!

Please know that Life Is Not Short It Is Eternal!! As I sit here and wonder what I am going to type and how I am going to expand on this topic, I remember… God is the One who gives me the topics and the expansion on each. I stop and ask, “Lord, what do you want me to share for this topic?” He just simply says “Type and I will give you the words”. So I type…

I know each of you may understand deleting emails that were not meant to be deleted and recovering them from the trash. Sometimes actual good emails even end up in the spam folder. I have quit going through my spam to see if any of them are good ones… that is, those that are meant to go to my inbox. It takes too much time and I just finally came to the conclusion that if I was meant to get it in my inbox it will be there and anything else will just have to be deleted from the spam folder. As I said, I know you all understand that part of it and when you delete it fromimages your spam or trash folder, you know it’s gone for good, never to be recovered.

Sometimes life is kind of like the spam folder. It catches so much “stuff” and it gets so full of that stuff that you are actually weighted down with stuff and don’t know what to do with it all. So you just delete it. That is you must cut relationships, stop bad habits, stop going places that are not good to go to, stop allowing “trash” to come out of your mouth, stop bad attitudes, and stop “trash” from entering your eyes that goes directly into your thoughts and heart, etc. You get the point.

Luke 6:45

45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart[a] brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Philippians 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

What about the one or two emails that were noSPAMt meant to go to the spam folder but are deleted and never to be recovered? Well, I just have to wait to hear from the person that sent you the email in the first place then I can “watch” for it again and then retrieve it from the spam folder and move to my inbox.

Now stopping or quitting some of these damaging or detrimental ways is very difficult sometimes and sometimes you cut things out of your life that maybe shouldn’t have really been cut. When you cut or delete the good things from your life it is difficult, at best, to retrieve them sometimes. But when you try to retrieve them and work at it, you can do it. Things such as prayer time, praise and worship of the Creator of it all, fellowship with other believers, serving in your church or community, etc. You get the picture. These are important and really shouldn’t be cut from your life. These will give you balance and a good foundation to build on with the other things in your life.

OK, you are saying… “Where is she going with this?” Well, quite frankly, I have thought the same thing… but read on and it will all come together.3.13.WhenGodSpeaksYou_945133362

God speaks to my heart so many times during the day that I just don’t get all of the things down that He tells me to share. I struggle with this and I also struggle with the time to sit and write. I miss writing and write as often as I can and sometimes that is just not enough, as far as I am concerned, but God has blocked me from writing at times. This is one thing that that has been deleted from my life that really wasn’t meant to be deleted forever, just for certain times. Maybe modified but not deleted. So I am in the process of finding a balance with my job – which takes a tremendous amount of brain power right now – and other things in my life. God is helping me find that balance.

So, with that convoluted mess of words above, hopefully, God can use me to wrap this up in a nice neat bow.

I think what God wants to warn about is that sometimes we allow “trash” to enter our lives, whether it is through reading, watching or listening or even saying. These are areas we can control. We just have to make the choice to not allow those things that tear down, destroy, mess up or otherwise… our relationship with God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit. The “world” is so messed up with varying beliefs and ways of doing things that it can be so confusing sometimes. People tell us that… “Sure it’s ok to do this or that. It feels good, right? Then it’s ok.” I lov782877._SX540_SY540_e this one… “Life is short. Enjoy yourself.” My pastor used this example some time back in church. He reminded us that life is not short it is eternalSo whatever you do today will have to be accounted for, eventually, in the presence of the HOLY GOD! If you know His Son Jesus, then God not only sees you through His Son’s eyes but your name is written in the Lamb’s book of Life and never to be blotted out. You will live forever with Jesus in the Heaven that He has prepared for us. If you do not know Jesus, then you will not be “deleted” from existence, you don’t just cease to exist… but will spend eternal life in Hell with unending torment. (see this website for answers and scriptures on this subject – GotQuestions.org).11385132_726661137480542_1265580307_n

This is a disputed topic and one that you really need to know about so you can ensure that you will be in Heaven with the Creator, Savior, King of Kings and Lord of Lords – Jesus for eternity and not hell! God’s Word tells us how to be sure and His Word is True!

Luke 16:19-31

19 “There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. 20 But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, 21 desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell[a] from the rich man’s table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ 25 But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’

27 “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’ 29 Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ 31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’”

If you are interested in knowing this Jesus and knowing what He has for you, or just have questions, please see this website for what it means to believe and follow Jesus Christ (Bible.org). Our God is such a good God and loves you so very much! After all, He calls you His beloved!

The Song – God So Loved The World – Charles Billingsley

I heard someone tell a story the other day about their wife’s experience with an out of body experience (confirming life after death for her).  She apparently had a serious illness and the doctors had to do an emergency surgery on her. As they performed this surgery, she supposedly stated that she remembered watching the doctors work on her body from above. She remembers hearing the doctors talk back and forth and even heard other people talking from a room or two away.

Suddenly she was no longer watching the doctors operate on her but she supposedly stated that she was in another place where there was a bright light. No “tunnel” experience, just a bright light. She stated that there were people in the area. Lots of people. Some of them were in one area and ecstatically happy. Then there was another area where some of the people were sitting around very studiously listening to a “teacher”. Others were milling all around while others were huddled together and seemed to be anxiously awaiting something.

I began to listen very carefully to the person telling this story. I even got teary eyed thinking of Heaven and the joy that must be there. I was pretty ok with everything so far. Even intrigued by the energy of the speaker that was telling the story. OK, back to the storyteller’s story.

This wife had stated that there was no real noticeable gender of anyone, however, she did state that everyone was young and beautiful. Then she stated that there was a man (I thought there were no genders) that walked up to her and she felt a great amount of love. The most love she had ever felt. She stated that this “love” that she felt was an overwhelming love like she had never felt before. This person told her that it was not her time but she could choose to stay there or go back. She told this person she wanted to stay. This person proceeded to show her the two or three small daughters she had on earth and explained how these girls would grow up without a mother. Then she decided to go back.

I was tearing up about this time because I personally was associating the “man” as our Savior, Jesus Christ. However, about now in the story, somehow the person was revealed as to be her grandfather. That really ruined it for me! I was still wiping my eyes when he stated this and all of a sudden I feltafterlife-in-heaven a bit of disappointment. I was thinking all along that this was Jesus and now it is her Grandfather!!? Oh My goodness! The person telling this story about his wife stated that all she remembered about her grandfather was an overweight, jolly man that would take his teeth out and kid around with the grand kids.

The storyteller said that she did go back and was revived and she lived to tell about it. Her experience proved to her – and apparently him – that there is life after death.  He wrapped up the story by saying this (somewhat paraphrased)… “I said all of this to say this… Folks, there is a Heaven! There is no hell and a place of everlasting turmoil and pain. We are all on a journey and all at different stages. We all go to the same place and that place is Heaven.” YIKES!!!! I wanted to RUN out of the room!! What was he saying!? That this woman  – his wife – that told him this story has the insight of the ages to tell us all that the Bible is a bunch of hooey and there is no hell and we are all going to the same place? What about these scriptures?

Revelation 21:8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Matthew 25:41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Revelation 20:10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Matthew 25:46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven.

The above scripture references were found on this website: The Official King James Bible online

Then there are these also from this website: Bible.org – What the Bible says about Hell

Everyone will exist eternally either in heaven or hell (Daniel 12:2,3; Matthew 25:46; John 5:28; Revelation 20:14,15).

Heaven or hell is determined by whether a person believes (puts their trust) in Christ alone to save them (John 3:16, 36, etc.).

Hell was designed originally for Satan and his demons (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10)

Hell will also punish the sin of those who reject Christ (Matthew 13:41,50; Revelation 20:11-15; 21:8).

Hell is conscious torment.

Matthew 13:50 “furnace of fire…weeping and gnashing of teeth”

Mark 9:47-48 47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire— 48 where ‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.’

Revelation 14:10 “he will be tormented with fire and brimstone”

Hell is eternal and irreversible.

Revelation 14:11 “the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever and they have no rest day and night”

Revelation 20:14 “This is the second death, the lake of fire”

Revelation 20:15If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire”

Some of those may be repeating… but that is even better. I can never get enough of the Word Of God! The Bible!

I tell you people! There are many, many folks out there that will tell you that there are many ways to God and that we are all going to the same place just taking different roads to get there! NO!! THAT IS A LIE STRAIGHT FROM HELL! Yes! Hell!!

I was sitting at the end of the table by this person when they came back to sit down. I was trying to wipe the last bit of moisture from my eyes (from when I thought I knew where he was going with the story). He had sat down and he reached out and touched my arm and patted it as if to say… “it will be ok.” I kind of got creeped out. I had met this person about a month or so ago and thought I liked him. He was a pleasant man with a jolly side. Everyone seems to really like him. I am not saying he is not a nice man. I am saying he is very deceived by the “evil one” – Satan. This is right where Satan wants people. In that “feel good, happy” place. That way they seemingly have no reason to search for the truth, because they already have it… supposedly. RUN! RUN! AS FAST AS YOU CAN! If you are not a well-seasoned Christian, you have no business associating with people like this. I am not saying be rude or ugly to them. Just like them at a distance. They will sway you to and fro if you are not solid in your beliefs and know that you know!

Please do not misunderstand me! I AM NOT saying that this person or his wife are evil. NO! I am saying they are misled and misguided because the Word of God is infallible! It is living and breathing. If anyone can read any of the scriptures above and believe that there is no Hell, then they are VERY misguided and mislead.

Hebrews 4:12

12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

God is very specific about the existence of Heaven and Hell. Watch the Video below. It is an excellent one if you have questions. It gives scriptures and some may be some of the ones above, but like I said, they all bear repeating.2197121ivyynbq0zo

JUST REMEMBER… God loves you so much. He sent His only Son Jesus to die for you! If there is no Hell, then why did Jesus die? God calls you His beloved! Please call out to him today.

This is basically a post I posted back in May and it was entitled “HORSE AND FAIRIES, DOGS, MICE AND DUCKS, OH MY!”  I am running short on time and want to repost because I love bringing people’s attention to God’s Creation! I have added a wonderful video called Creation Calls. This is an awesome video that displays God’s wonderful creation. I know you will enjoy it!

Thank you for allowing me to repost from time to time. Sometimes I find myself in a time crunch and need a little grace. Enjoy!

I love to enjoy God’s Creation!  The other day on my way home from work I saw the coolest cloud formations.  There was one long wispy line of clouds from North West to South West and it seemed to be the only clouds in the sky..  It was so pretty and unusual. CLOUDS It obviously was blown by the winds up high and it made quite a display.  I began taking pictures of it and noticed one of the formations of clouds resembled a horse… wispy yes, but still a horse.  I loved it!  I posted it on Facebook and others said they saw the horse as well… which made me feel better … lol.  Anyway, I love finding shapes in the different cloud formations.  Usually you find great things in the big white fluffy looking clouds easily.  But the wispy ones are just pretty because of the wind that blows them around so to find a shape of any kind in them is unusual.  I have always found shapes in clouds.  One time I was driving from Fort Worth to Dallas and in one trip I found the whole cast of Disney cartoon characters. I discovered Goofy, Mickey Mouse, Daffy Duck and so many more. It was such fun and quite entertaining… not to mention it might have been a bit dangerous to be gazing up into the beautiful blue sky with the white fluffy clouds catching my attention as opposed to watching the highway… nonetheless… I made it OK and had fun on my trek to Big D.

My point in all this is that God is so good to givGOD MAKES IT GROWe us beauty in the skies and the earth.  I have stated before that God’s beauty is all around us and all we have to do is stop and take notice.  Never be too busy to absorb the beauty of a sunrise or sunset, or the rain clouds headed our way.  Even the rain drops on the flowers and plants after the storm has passed is beautiful to me.  Everything sparkles and is so fresh and clean.

I have always said that God could have given us a black and white world and we would never know the BLACK AND WHITEdifference.  But He didn’t!  Black and White has its own kind of beauty but there is no comparison to the colorful world that He did give us!  God loves color and all different shapes and sizes of things!  He gave us the most beautiful birds, animals and fish and sea creatures along with all the plant life on this planet.  He placed us (man) in charge of it all and we really need to stop and enjoy His gifts at least once in a while.  I used to love to camp in a tent (when I was MUCH younger) so I could hear the world come to life in the morning and hear the nightfall with all the sounds at dusk and into the night.  I loved falling asleep to the cricketGOD'S CREATIONs, whippoorwills and bullfrogs.  It was so peaceful and relaxing. Gazing into God’s night sky with the cozillion stars… I know that probably is not a real word… but Forrest used it so I can too… lol.

We are told in 1 Corinthians 2:9  But as it is written: “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.”  These sites that are being spoken of here does not mean for everyone to see and hear… these special, spectacular sites are in Heaven are only … ONLY… for those that love Him.  I, myself, cannot wait to see those “sites” that He has prepared for me and us! HEAVEN If you love God you have certainly accepted His Son Jesus into your life and allowed Him to help guide you through this life here on earth.  For without Jesus… you will not see these beautiful sites that God has in store for us.  I want you all to be there with me!  We can celebrate together and dance the streets of gold with Jesus!  If you have not accepted Jesus into your life yet, please pray to receive Him today into your heart.  This link is to a website that will help you find “The Way” to God through His Son Jesus!  (Bible.org)  If you would rather talk to someone about it, call your local church or contact a Christian friend or neighbor. Also, please feel free to contact me anytime!  I would love to hear from you!  Reach out and talk to God today… He is waiting to hear from you, after all you are His beloved child.
